You know how it is. I can't even see the play, just sort of sit there. It's a very weird play. Sometimes you don't realize it until you see it with the audience, who laughs and then goes "Gaah!" and then get silent and then moans when something terrible happens. About half of the reactions are where you'd think they'd be. Then again, audible reactions are pretty much what this play is built for.
I'll know far more and write far more when we're further into the run. Suffice to say the cast and crew are brilliant and the set is, well, a marvel. And it does tricks too.
