NUDISTS IN LOVE - I did a reading of it last month, and it is funny and charming. Lovely score as well. Plus, my significant other is working on it, so I encourage everyone to show her some luv. :)
I'm not sure what other shows from Chicago are going there this year (and if any of you reading this still haven't seen "The Strangerer" at Barrow Street, what the hell's the matter with you?!?!), but I was quite taken with Mary Scruggs' solo piece "Missing Man" when I saw it last year, and it's going to be in the NY Fringe. It's about her adventures riding with Vietnam vets to the Wall -- the title comes from the "missing man" formation that they use in tribute to their fallen friends. Very funny and touching and engaging work, for those who like autobiographical solo journey-type stuff.
