In my experience, the only writers I've met who were absolutely and completely convinced of their own brilliance have been talent-less hacks . . .
The great writers I've been fortunate enough to know have all harbored secret and not-secret suspcions that that they're really fooling themself and everyone else, especially once they get to page 75, and they need to take truck driving lessons soon . . .
I can't speak for anyone else, but I've only ever read it for Wierd Al talk and clips. So, for me, the blog has been absolutely KICKING lately after a long, long dry spell.
That's exactly why I read it! I love the whole "traffic accident in slow motion" flavor of your blog! The oly thing I like better is a traffic accident in fast motion.
