The Death of King Arthur

Have you recently purchased a copy of my adaptation of Le Morte d'Arthur? You really should. If you are charged with the running of a high school theatre program, especially. Because the play is great for that sort of thing. It really is.

Self-promotion. Blogging. Hand in glove.

Go on over to Playscripts.com and check it out.

  1. I'm on the fence about buying it. I mean, does it rhyme or anything? Because that's the only way I'd buy it.

I own the Playscripts and I can confidently say that the film of this same story, First Knight, has at least 100% More Richard Gere in it than Matt Freeman's play.

I think it is clear how that should influence your judgement.

  3. Although, I hear Gere was on the original list for Most Wonderful Love but didn't make the cut.

Well, I won't comment on the record, but I will simply say that Freeman wasn't in favor of ending the play with the Deus Ex Dalai Lama that Gere suggested.
