Wow. I haven't watched one of those in years. I used to love Davey and Goliath, although I think the religious message zoomed past me.
I was postive...POSITIVE...that Davey would win because the bird would steal the pins from the other cars, causing them to crash, and then Davey would learn a lesson about honesty by giving back the trophy. I did not see the whole "we're all different hooray" thing coming at all. You got me, Lutherans!
I particularly liked the dystopian alternate reality in which everyone in the world is a trumpet-playing, baseball-catching fireman who looks exactly like Davey Hanson.
