Anybody else...

Watching The Shield besides me and Dave?

  1. Me! I...

Oh, wait. I've already been counted.

I would also like to take this moment to recommend Sons of Anarchy. It is like Hamlet on motorcycles.

  2. Yes. Just like the final season of "The Wire," I'm pleased to see the way in which they're more or less pulling together tons of plot threads to really create a solid send off.

I forget which episode it's from, but the scene where Mackie flips out in his wife's hospital (and you can't hear him, because it's from the POV of his wife, behind a glass window) . . . absolutely shattering.

And while I'm not into "Sons of Anarchy" as much as David D., I love FX for "Rescue Me" and "Nip/Tuck," too, even if the latter keeps recycling the same cliffhanger, season after season.

  3. I watched both of the first seasons of Nip/Tuck and Rescue Me. Didn't go for more, but liked them. Rescue Me got a little over the top with everyone woman on earth wanting to bang Denis Leary.

Come to think of it, they do that with Vic Mackie too.

But I am digging this season of The Shield. Hoping for a satisfying conclusion.
