Obama speaks to his own party with strong language, inspiring language and humor about the stimulus, after Republicans dominate the airwaves with remedial politics and long dismissed ideas... and it's written about like Obama is somehow off-message or hyper-partisan.
The most partisan thing that I'm seeing is how the media is covering the stimulus package.
How is it that the GOP can lose nearly all its political clout, have its platform thoroughly repudiated in a national election, lose its majority in both houses, and still completely control the debate and dictate the terms of the stimulus package? I don't get it. If the last election doesn't enable the Dems to grow a collective pair, what will? I'm growing concerned...
