Announcing ... Why We Left Brooklyn
I'm happy to announce that my new play, WHY WE LEFT BROOKLYN (Or The Dinner Party Play), will open at the end of August at the Fourth Street Theater. It's produced by Theater Accident in association with Blue Coyote Theater Group, and directed by Kyle Ancowitz.
It features a stellar cast, including Rebecca Davis, David DelGrosso, Amanda Jones, Jay Leibowitz, Sarah K. Lippmann, Susan Louise O'Connor, Andrew Schwartz, Moira Stone, and Matthew Trumbull.
WHY WE LEFT BROOKLYN is a darkly comic snapshot of the recession-era bourgeoisie: ambitious, aging, evangelically ethical, and heartbroken. These are the children of the divorce explosion and the Reagan revolution, now navigating their own marriages, livelihoods, and sputtering dreams.
More details on the way!
In the meantime, won't you support our fundraising campaign on IndieGoGo? I figured you would! You're awesome that way.
