Very excited to see...

Aronofsky's The Wrestler as I am an unabashed lifelong actual pro wrestling fan.

And Mickey Rourke. Doing what he does best, get beat up broke down and pummeled with those ever loving eyes fixed on something outside of our vision. Sigh. I only hope it lives up to expectations.

I'm a fan of Arronoffsky and Rourke ... not really a fan of wrestling, though I love the documentary that inspired this movie ... Seeing Jake the Snake charging crack for appearances in small shows across the country is an image I don't know I'll ever forget.
