Health Care Reform is stalling?

I've read over the past few weeks that Health Care might be DOA, that it's already stalling, that the Republicans are digging in for a fight, that Obama's already lost the healthcare fight.

Even though the majority of Americans want health care reform, support the public option, and Obama is presiding over a majority?

How...is this.. failing? Exactly?
