The GOP won two gubernatorial races in states where the incumbent was weak or already deeply unpopular! Democrats are doomed, clearly.

Not to mention the fact that an upstate New York district went Democrat for the first time in - oh - 150 years. But Sarah Palin's on track! Take a hard right on social issues! That'll get the nonwhites, women and voters aged 18-35 back in your column! Get tough on abortion and gay marriage! That's the way to Take America Back!

And really - so far as Virginia is concerned - it's a wonder they've had a Democrat in office there for the last eight years.
