Oh, you are so right about Avatar! It's mesmerisingly beautiful. Who knew that 9' tall, skinny, blue approximations of humans could be so alluring? And I was flying WITH them when they hopped on those pterodactyl-things. It's not profound but sometimes we need goodies and baddies and simple stories that, yes, all the family can relate to. I loved this modern fairy-tale (which contains truths and morals as all good fairy-tales should).And I normally prefer sombre French relationship-films. So if it got me....
