Sen. Ben Nelson is going to try to introduce an anti-abortion amendment into the Senate bill that is identical to the Stupak-Pitts amendment.
Uh-huh.
What is completely unreported in all this is that these three men are all members of the same wingnut conservative Christian cultish pro-wealth fringe group.
So I guess being bipartisan means essentially sabotaging your own party's social agenda you're all King David or some shit.
This stuff needs to be better reported as choreographed, so it doesn't take on the illusion of being a part of reasonable debate.

Wait.. Ben Nelson is part of The Family? That I didn't know.
He's also, it should be said, an idiot, who calls himself a fiscal conservative without understanding how bonds work.
Did you read this:

I hope posting this isn't bad form.
Not at all! You've been added to the blogroll!
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Hating on The Family is one of my favorite hobbies lately.
this is what I said when Obama had rick warren speak at his inauguration. People, even liberals, said "oh, he just wants to be inclusive etc." Oh yeah? Well crazy people shouldn't have a seat at the table.
The Family is the worst of it, but we ought not let ANY religious groups obtain political clout.
