Matthew Freeman is a Brooklyn based playwright with a BFA from Emerson College. He served as Assistant Producer and Senior Writer for the live webcast from Times Square on New Year's Eve 2010-2012. His plays have been published by Playscripts, Inc., New York Theatre Experience, and Samuel French.

Blessing with a curse attached

Charles Isherwood writes a blog post on the New York Times website about his desire to stop reviewing Adam Rapp's plays. No really. You must read it.

I'm not sure how I feel about it.

To quote:

"I’ve come to the conclusion I’ve rapped Mr. Rapp’s knuckles enough for a lifetime. I’d like to hand the ruler to someone else next time."
