Matthew Freeman is a Brooklyn based playwright with a BFA from Emerson College. Speed Racer

So I saw Speed Racer. I thought it was kind of...awesome. Sue me.

But yes. I had a better time at Speed Racer.

No! No! I just, honestly, liked it better. I thought it did some really apeshit cool stuff and that the actors were all great and the tone is perfect for cartoon-movie adaptation. I thought Iron Man was Spider Man was X-Men. I liked it, I really did. But Speed Racer was cooler and weirder and more, frankly, emotional.
