Matthew Freeman is a Brooklyn based playwright with a BFA from Emerson College. If Law & Order gets cancelled...

...it will cut off a supply line of SAG cards and insurance weeks to tons to New York City actors. True?

Yeah... I think people underestimate the extent to which Law And Order subsidizes New York Theatre, although there was a Times article about it a few years back. With it in constant syndication, the residual revenue is not too shabby either.
