Looking back on 2008

Following are the first sentences from the first posts of each month in 2008. Just for fun and such.

January
I'm just back from New Orleans, visiting friends.

February
The Arts. MIA.

March
I finally saw August: Osage County.

April
Had a full weekend of rehearsals, after we recorded the podcast.

May
The agony of the food snob on Slate.

June
I got to see Colorful World on its closing night.

July
Love to you both! Congratulations!

August
I've been working, for a year or so now, on a play adaptation of Bluebeard.

September
John McCain chooses a right-wing, barely known Governor as his running mate and it appears to all sane human beings he did so because this Governor is a woman.

October
As this week is a busy week, and there is so much in the News that is Fuck-It-All worthy, I am sticking my head in the sand.

November
We often say this is the biggest election in our lifetimes.

December
...and we're back. Well, back-ish.
