More on Indie Theater

Joshua James, ultimate fighter and playwright, has written a very sharp post about the cost of doing business in NYC, Indie Theater or no. Check it out here.

I'm not really an Ultimate Fighter - just addicted to the show - but wouldn't be cool if I could lose twenty pounds and do the show! My girl would never let me, but it would be sooo cool.

Being trying to keep up with all of this madness...

In response to Scott's question - "Will it work?" - the church free model where you spread the word by word of mouth - it does, to an extent, as Subjective is free and tries to spread the word by word of mouth.

Granted - none of us are being paid for this crazy theatre - but it's moving along. I wish more groups would try this model - then maybe we would be onto something.

Check out www.thebrooklynrail.org by the end of the week - I will have an essay on this shit in there.

Would be interested in hearing what you think...
