Did I mention...?

That I DID see the X-Files movie?

It was as if someone from 1996 sent a movie to the future.

If someone from 1996 sent an INCREDIBLY SHITTY movie to the future.

I wasn't expecting greatness, but holy crap it was bad.

Perhaps a TV movie from 1996?

It struck me as weirdly unGood. Mysteriously unGood. Like it was purposefully made to be a bit less than fans would want, in order to end their clamoring for it at all.

If you stuck around in your chair during the credits, stunned and drinking the last of your Cherry Coke, you might have seen them do a helicopter shot of Scully and Mulder in a row boat, in the ocean, in swim wear, WAVING at the CAMERA.

It was why "WTF" was invented.

Eh that's too bad. It was one I thought for one brief shining moment - might be a non-shitty summer movie.
